Are you willing to invest in yourself?
In this bonus episode I get to speak to my friend and client, Michelle Capizzi.
Michelle is an abstract artist and creative connector. She’s a girl (she’s in her 50’s but still feels like a girl in the studio) who loves to get messy, dance barefoot, is obsessed with color, and always dreaming in shapes. She has a BA in Fine Arts with concentration in Graphic Design from SUNY Fredonia but the bulk of her art education has come from working with artists, galleries, and exploring the world.
What’s been so special about working with Michelle is that I’ve watched her go from waiting for the “right time” to getting back to what she loves.
We’re going to talk about things like imposter syndrome, how she had to learn to trust herself, figuring out that the business side of things don’t need to look so perfect, and learning that it’s hard to put a value on your work.
We’re also going to talk about how she invested in herself and what that looked like.
Buckle up for some great insights and a few laughs.
In Today’s Episode We Discuss:
- Choosing to do what you love
- Realizing that things don’t need to be perfect
- The importance of self-acceptance
- How to trust yourself
- Balancing creative time and business time
- How to put a value on your work
- How to get back to what you love
Just like we talked about in the episode, there is no magic fairy dust. The only thing that’s going to create commitment and change in your world is you.
